When was this created?
This rare ink and colored pencil drawing is Tito’s Whoopacommie Outlet Shoppe. A Whoopacommie is an inflatable, blow-up, punching bag toy to help East Seid residents work through their anti-communist rage. This drawing shows a rare appearance of Tito, on as skateboard, jumping over a poorly driving Gary Masalam. A cleaned up version of this artwork can be seen here.
The color image on the left shows an polished late 90’s, Voltz era, Trash Can Man. At that time he was merely an empty trash can. Fast forward over a decade and robotic arms can come out from under his lid. In the second illustration he is about to ‘bonk’ a sleeping Gary Masalam.
This chaotic drawing on an early page of a planner while crude is the home of many firsts. The first drawing of Clownie, Foxy, Mox, Nasta, Portfolios the Great and Scarecrow. Trash Can Man had been fairly well established by this time.
This unfinished work shows Gary’s Low Rider getting jackhammered by a piece of construction equipment. The original intent for this approximately legal size ink on bristol board drawing was to airbrush the color on. Fast forward two decades and it emerged from hiding on a book shelf. The drawing was finished in the medium it was started in but colored with marker and colored pencil which can be seen here. In it’s finished form it is known as Drama at the corner of Broad & Charles.

This noir image shows Tito on the upper deck of an Eastseid Battle bus. What battle? Don’t know. Where battle? There, Battle! Whose bus is it? Definitely Tito’s. Who they battling? The west. Sources indicate this incursion is an westside blockade in the East. Perhaps at or near some of the disputed territorial claims. Trash Can Man did survive this incident.
