This noir image shows Tito on the upper deck of an Eastseid Battle bus. What battle? Don’t know. Where battle? There, Battle! Whose bus is it? Definitely Tito’s. Who they battling? The west. Sources indicate this incursion is an westside blockade in the East. Perhaps at or near some of the disputed territorial claims. Trash Can Man did survive this incident. A finished version can be seen here and there.
This noir storyboard shows, in several interations, Tito emerging from the subway while ‘lookin for somebody’. Gary can be seen in the lower left corner cowering in fear. Unsure who that clown in the upper left us. A polished version of this design can be seen here.
Tito views Commercial Row from atop the Imperialtron Club in the East. This is one of the few drawings depicting the west in any detail. A finished version can be seen here.
This mixed media piece is stencils and various papers on canvas utilizing wheat paste. Overlayed with airbrush, spray-paint and paint pens. Most voltz work is not a crossover with anything but this is the exception. Tito can be seen with a switchblade raised and his right ring finger raised indicating for the viewer to ‘Go To Wayne’. Gary can be seen on the right raising a fist from behind the safety of a wall. Tito’s caption bubble is left empty by design so that the viewer may interpret the message for themselves.
Mox and Gary, both love the East but are sworn enemies. Nobody likes a commie. Jumping the bench that another sleeps upon is a way to show dominance.
Though not the first iteration of Captain Eastseid, this is his first set of backstory notes.
